I bought Jelly back in 2024 from a company called Josh’s Frogs. He was the very first “exotic” pet that I had ever purchased. I received him as a baby, only about 2-3 months out of water. I fell in love with him immediately.
He grew rapidly. He has always been a ferocious eater, so feeding times are a blast. He has grown around 4-5 inches in length since I have gotten him and has gained over an entire pound.
As far as his personality goes, he is a total sweetheart. He tolerates handling well and is very easy-going. His daily activities include either burying himself in the dirt or soaking in his water bowl.
The average life span of an African Bullfrog in captivity is around 15 to 20 years. I am looking forward to seeing just how big this guy will get! I hope that through providing him the proper care and offering him the best life possible, I will be able love him for many years to come.
